Vogt Educational & Leadership Scholarship
Vogt Educational & Leadership Scholarship History & Requirements

The Community Foundation of Louisville is proud to administer this scholarship fund. This $12,000 scholarship can be used for tuition, books, and academic fees at any accredited four-year undergraduate program that leads to a BA/BS degree. Being named a Vogt Educational & Leadership Scholar may also lead to additional merit-based awards, particularly at local and regional colleges and universities.
Qualified applicants include any high school senior attending a JCPS high school who have:
• Demonstrated leadership in school, extracurricular, and community activities
• A cumulative (weighted) GPA of 3.2 or higher
• An ACT score of 25 or higher, or an SAT score of 1200 or higher (Critical Reading and Math scores combined)
• Completed and/or enrolled in Advanced Placement or equivalent college-level curriculum
"With my aspirations of going to medical school and knowing that I will have more tuition to pay later, this is something that will help alleviate future stress, and for that I am thankful.” – David Do, 2018 Vogt Educational & Leadership Scholarship Recipient
