Audited Financial Statements

The Community Foundation’s financial statements are audited every year to ensure that our financial reporting is in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles. The Foundation’s audited financials can be reviewed by clicking the link below.

IRS Form 990

Form 990 is an annual informational return that the Community Foundation must file with the IRS as a federally tax-exempt organization.  It provides information on the Foundation’s management, mission, programs and finances. A Form 990 is filed for each of our corporate entities: the Community Foundation of Louisville, Inc., the Community Foundation of Louisville Depository, Inc., the Community Foundation of Louisville Corporate Depository, Inc. and the Real Estate Legacy Foundation of Kentucky, Inc. every year as required by IRS regulations.

The Foundation has not been subject to Unrelated Business Income Tax in the past three years and accordingly has not been required to file a Form 990-T during that period.
