Give for Good Louisville Registration Opens Monday, June 2

Local organizations across Kentuckiana can now register to participate in the area’s largest day of community giving. This year marks the 12th annual Give for Good Louisville, an online giving event organized by the Community Foundation of Louisville, a financial institution with a social mission that mobilizes people, networks, and capital to spark meaningful change in Louisville. Registration for the giving event opens as many organizations face uncertainty in the wake of a halt in federal funding. On Thursday, September 18, tens of thousands of people across eight counties in Kentucky and Southern Indiana will come together to support local organizations by making a gift online at www.GiveforGoodLouisville.org.

“The Community Foundation of Louisville is honored to once again host Give for Good Louisville,” said Ron Gallo, President and CEO of the Community Foundation of Louisville. “Now in its 12th year, this initiative continues to exemplify the strength of collective philanthropy and the unwavering commitment of our community to strengthening the nonprofit sector. It is a day defined by collaboration, not competition—one that focuses on equipping organizations with sustainable resources to amplify their missions and deepen their long-term impact.”

Since 2014, Give for Good Louisville has mobilized more than 172,000 people to invest over $70 million in local organizations across Jefferson, Oldham, Shelby, Spencer, and Bullitt Counties in Kentucky, as well as Clark, Floyd, and Harrison Counties in Indiana.

Charitable organizations of all sizes are encouraged to participate in Give for Good Louisville. Nonprofit organizations, churches, governmental units, veterans’ organizations, educational institutions, and several other organizations are eligible. Last year nearly 600 organizations took part. Registration opens from June 2 through July 11 at www.GiveforGoodLouisville.org.

Organizations are encouraged to register early so that they can utilize the training and marketing opportunities and sign up to attend the Giving Day Workshop on Thursday, July 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., facilitated by 20/Twenty Strategic Consultants.

Funders from the Kentuckiana region have already united for the common good, contributing hundreds of thousands of dollars to this year’s prize pool. Thanks to their generosity, participating organizations have the chance to receive additional cash prizes, courtesy of our gracious prize partners, including Premier  Prize Partner, the Sam Swope Family, and Presenting Prize Partner  Churchill Downs Incorporated, as well as Derby City Gaming and Hotel, Caesars Foundation of Floyd County, Brown-Forman, and Owsley Brown II Family Foundation.
