Community Foundation of Louisville Launches New Grant Opportunity

The Community Foundation of Louisville has launched the Sparking Change Mini-Grants Program. This grant opportunity is open to nonprofit organizations with operating budgets under $250,000. Each month, the Foundation will award three $1,000 grants supported by each of the Foundation’s Fund for Louisville Action Areas, Louisville’s People, Louisville’s Prosperity, and Louisville’s Well-Being.

Verified nonprofits only need to apply once within a calendar year to be considered each month thereafter; they can only be awarded this grant once per calendar year. Organizations can apply for the Sparking Change Mini-Grants here.

“We are connecting with area nonprofits not only to introduce the Fund for Louisville Sparking Change Mini-Grants and the Foundation’s action areas; it is also another way to fulfill our mission to mobilize people, networks, and capital to spark meaningful change. Working collaboratively with area organizations is crucial in driving the necessary changes needed to create a better Louisville for everyone”, said Donna Bowne, Senior Associate, Community Engagement.

To share information about the Sparking Change Mini-Grants and other resources, the Community Foundation of Louisville will host a virtual info session.
