Lisa Bajorinas

Lisa Bajorinas is a startup consultant and ecosystem builder for the Greater Louisville region.  She works with innovation-driven, technology-based companies, using lean startup methodology, and assists entrepreneurs with customer acquisition, capital access, talent attraction, operations and project management.  Her numerous startup programs, workshops, and events add to the culture of Louisville’s vibrant startup community. Most notably she co-founded the Enterprise Angels. Lisa further volunteers as the Program Chair for the Venture Connectors board of directors, co-director of Startup Grind Louisville and as an organizer for Louisville Startup Week. 

Most recently Lisa led Greater Louisville Inc. ‘s EnterpriseCorp, a regional entrepreneurial support organization, directed the Louisville region of the Kentucky Innovation Network and consulted for the Louisville Entrepreneurship Acceleration Partnership (LEAP).  She was the program director for the Vogt Awards from 2009 – 2015 guiding it to become an accelerator, and then managed the EnterpriseCorp resource in this role while on the Vogt Awards advisory committee. Since 2010, she has assisted 35 startups raise $16M annually.

Lisa’s previous work with GLI focused on identifying and supporting fast growth “gazelle” companies and earned her the U.S. Economic Development Administration’s Excellence in Economic Development Award, a finalist for the CoreNet Global Economic Development Leadership Award, and Honorable Mention from the International Economic Development Council’s Excellence in Economic Development Award.  She is a Business First Top 20 to Know in Tech/Innovation awardee and a current member of the Leadership Louisville 2020 class.

Lisa’s career began in the travel eCommerce space in Miami through successive positions in technology, software project management and marketing and eventually led her to a product marketing role in Silicon Valley with fast growth BroadVision, while managing a global team of software developers located in Nice (Sophia Antipolis), France.  She holds a B.A. in organizational psychology and an MBA, both from the University of Miami (FL).
