Our Response to COVID-19

The Community Foundation of Louisville is fortunate to be a part of a caring, generous, and resilient community especially during this COVID-19 pandemic. The health and safety of our partners, staff, and community is our top priority. Even though our office is closed to the public, our staff are working remotely to serve our generous donors, fund holders, and the nonprofit organizations that are making a difference every day.

We’ve transitioned all of our events to a virtual format through the end of 2020 so that you’ll still be able to join us. Plus, we’ve added new events to our lineup to provide you with opportunities to hear how you can support nonprofit organizations in new ways.

HOW TO GET IN TOUCH WITH OUR TEAM

Please call our main number, 502.585.4649, which will be answered during business hours and all staff will remain accessible. Our work hasn’t changed and we are committed to serving our donors, partners, and nonprofits.

We continue to process and distribute grants from our donor funds.

If you’re making a gift to your Community Foundation fund, the quickest way to do so is via credit card or ACH.  Because Community Foundation staff are working remotely, we may not be able to deposit checks in our usual time frame. Please contact us at stewardship@cflouisville.org or 502.585.4649 to request our account information to make a gift via ACH or with any other gift-related question.

SUPPORTING OUR COMMUNITY

A coalition of government and philanthropy has joined together to create the One Louisville: COVID-19 Response Fund that will rapidly deploy funds to households, and community-based organizations (nonprofit organizations) working at the frontlines of the Louisville-area coronavirus outbreak.

Thank you to each community member who is stepping forward to support your neighbors.
