Our Response to COVID-19
The Community Foundation of Louisville is fortunate to be a part of a caring, generous and resilient community. The health and safety of our partners, staff, and community is our top priority. As the number of cases of the coronavirus, COVID-19, continue to grow in our community and around the world, we are taking precautions and making plans to manage the situation in a way that allows us to continue our work and provide ways to contribute to community efforts to limit the spread of the virus and its impact on our community.
HOW TO GET IN TOUCH WITH OUR TEAM
Based on recommendations from public health officials related to social distancing, all Community Foundation staff will temporarily work remotely starting on Monday, March 16th. Our main number, 502-585-4649, will be answered as normal during business hours and all staff will remain accessible.
We are also restricting access to our office by prohibiting visits from all outside guests effective immediately. Any CFL meetings scheduled at our office will be postponed or converted to virtual meetings. During this period, we are committed to continue processing and distributing grants from our donor funds.
Because Community Foundation staff are working remotely and are not able to deposit checks in our usual time frame, the fastest way to make a gift into your personal Community Foundation fund is via credit card or ACH. Please contact us at [email protected] or 502.585.4649 to request our account information to make a gift via ACH or with any other gift-related question.

HOW TO GIVE
- A coalition of government and philanthropy has joined together to create the One Louisville: COVID-19 Response Fund that will rapidly deploy resources to households, and community-based organizations (nonprofit organizations) working at the frontlines of the Louisville-area coronavirus outbreak. - The Norton Healthcare Foundation Community COVID 19 Fund supports the efforts of Norton Healthcare to protect our community, patients, and staff and to aggressively reduce the virus and treat those impacted by it.
