Winsday - Great Thrills for the Greater Good

A Community Foundation of Louisville & Churchill Downs Racetrack Partnership

Winsday, presented by Resolute Racing, is a unique Kentucky Derby Week event that shines a spotlight on local nonprofits and their incredible missions. It’s more than a day of racing—it’s a celebration of the pivotal role nonprofits play in our community. By purchasing tickets through one or more of the 50 participating nonprofits, guests enjoy a day at the races during Derby Week and contribute directly to local causes.

Prizes Sponsored by Churchill Downs Inc.

Everybody walks away a winner on Winsday! Participating nonprofits get the chance to engage in additional fundraising beyond ticket sales and earn special cash prizes. For any organization that does not unlock one of the Winsday prizes below, $500 will be awarded to them for participating. Special thanks to Churchill Downs, Inc. for sponsoring this year's prizes!

Charity Post Draw

Just like the Derby Post Draw, but with a twist! During the ‘Winsday’ race day, the Churchill Downs team hosted a live drawing in which 20 out of 50 nonprofit participants were randomly paired with a Kentucky Derby post position.
