Angelica Sanchez Vega, JD

Angelica Sanchez Vega joined the Community Foundation of Louisville’s Community Engagement team in April 2023 as a Senior Program Officer – Economic Equity. In April 2024, Angelica was promoted to Director of Gift Planning as she joined the Philanthropic Services department. Prior to her role at the Community Foundation of Louisville, she served as General Counsel and Executive Advisor at the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development where she provided legal and operational support to the agency and its corresponding boards and commissions to advance economic opportunity.

Prior to her time in state government, she practiced commercial real estate law at Stites & Harbison, PLLC. She holds a B.A. in Economics and Foreign Language & International Studies and an MBA from Bellarmine University, along with a J.D. from Notre Dame Law School.

Angelica enjoys traveling and discovering new places to eat in Louisville.
