“Accepting oneself does not preclude an attempt to become better.” – Flannery O’Connor

Amber has been an active community member since 1990 – with the last two decades very involved with community organizations and non-profits.

Specifically, since March 2020, she has worked for and with several organizations, including Jefferson County Circuit Court, Jewish Community Center, Louisville Urban League, Waterfront Botanical Gardens, Father Maloney’s Boys and Girls Haven and Muhammad Ali Center. Through this work, Amber has assisted leadership to navigate through many of the challenges and opportunities in our/their communities, especially with social justice and pandemic related issues. She has maintained relationships with these organizations and continues to support them.
