Dear Friends,

What an interesting time we live in and how much our lives have changed.  There are many in Oldham County – more than ever before who need our assistance.  From supporting in food assistance to rapidly changing our model of Workforce Development, our foundation works to be in the forefront of meeting that need.

  • In late March, our Board of Advisors, met and allocated an additional amount of $4000.00 to go towards area Food Banks. $2000 was given directly to the Oldham County Red Cross and $2000 was sent to Dare to Care to be distributed among Oldham County Food Banks.
  • We have also reached the decision to move our grants process forward to begin now with a special emphasis to go towards COVID-19 relief programming. For the first time we will be encouraging agencies with similar needs to band together for a join application to make a stronger impact for those in need.  As a reminder, in order to qualify to apply you must be an existing 501 (c) 3 with a mission which includes programming in Oldham County.

We hope that you will take the time to use the resources that the Community Foundation can offer you for your charitable giving – don’t forget the 2020 Tax Credit timeline for Kentucky and thoughtfully consider designating one of our funds within Oldham county.

With much appreciation for your support, Laurie Anne Roberts, Chair
