Community Engagement

The Community Engagement team works year-round to build relationships with community stakeholders to identify and learn about impactful ways to move resources into the community. These resources are made available through a network of funds, including the Fund for Louisville, for grantmaking, awareness, and advocacy, carried out through the team’s Plan of Action.

The team mobilizes resources to strengthen Black and other marginalized communities, with an emphasis on Louisville’s PeopleLouisville’s Prosperity, and Louisville’s Well-Being. When thinking about ways to put dollars to work, this team looks for opportunities to:

  • Strengthen Louisville’s violence reduction ecosystem
  • Encourage inclusive storytelling
  • Improve financial capital accessibility
  • Develop and retain leaders
  • Enhance policy solutions
