Susan A. Barry, JD
The Community Foundation of Louisville welcomed Susan Barry to the Commonwealth of Kentucky in January 2009.
Susan joined the Community Foundation of Louisville with more than 25 years of nonprofit and government sector experience, including leadership roles for 10 years at two community foundations – as President of York County Community Foundation in York, Pennsylvania, and as Director of Development at the Rhode Island Foundation. A graduate of Marquette University, she earned her J.D. degree from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan.
Susan hails from Providence, Rhode Island, but is proud to call Louisville home.
Susan is a member of the board of 55,000 Degrees and serves on the Community Advisory Board for Greater Louisville Inc. Additionally, she serves as a member of the Donors Forum of Kentuckiana, an association of foundations and funders in the Louisville Metro area, and is also a member of the Advisory Board for the Greater Louisville Project, a coalition of private funders who have developed and are executing Louisville’s plan for community excellence.
