Simone Sibley-McBride


Simone Sibley-McBride joined the Community Foundation of Louisville’s Mission & Impact team as the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Manager and Program Manager in December 2021.

With expertise in designing innovative solutions, Simone is passionate about improving community and organizational equity, systems, and wellness. She supports the Foundation in implementing equitable departmental strategies around DEI, Anti-racism, grantmaking, trust-based philanthropy scholarship practices, and evaluation of organizational impact.

Before joining the Community Foundation, Simone impacted change through strategic planning, health equity workshop and retreat facilitation, DEI consultation, public health department training, nonprofit management, and workplace wellness program development.

Simone holds a B. A. in Psychology from Spelman College, and received her postpartum doula certification in 2021, as she advocates to address racial and health equity disparities within black maternal and infant health.

A native of Hampton, VA, Simone relocated to her husband’s hometown of Louisville, KY in 2021. In her free time, Simone enjoys dancing, painting, reading, and spending time in nature with her husband and daughter.
