Mike Schultz joined the Community Foundation in March 2011 as the Vice President of Development and Stewardship.
At the Community Foundation, Mike leads the efforts to engage existing donors and build philanthropic resources that lead to more vibrant communities now and for generations to come.
Prior to joining the Community Foundation, Mike served for eleven years as the Vice President of Development at Brooklawn Child & Family Services (now Uspiritus). Brooklawn successfully completed two capital campaigns and initiated an endowment and planned giving program under his leadership. Prior to Brooklawn, he worked as Funeral Home Manager and Community Relations Director at the Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Homes.
Mike has lived in the Louisville area since he was three years old. He attended Seneca High School and earned a B.S. in Business Management from Indiana University Southeast. His community involvement includes the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Fundraising Executives of Metro Louisville, National Philanthropy Day, and an Ignite Louisville mentor. He is a former board member of the Kentucky Hemophilia Foundation, Uspiritus and his church.
