Cara Baribeau joined the Community Foundation of Louisville staff in January 2014 after having served on its Board of Directors since 2006. She held several leadership positions with the Foundation including Chair of the Impact Investing Committee and Vice-Chair of the Grantmaking, Partnerships and Strategy Committee. She was also a member of the Executive Committee and Marketing Committee.
As Vice President, Marketing & Communications, Cara oversees the Foundation’s brand presence including all aspects of marketing, public relations, advertising, content creation and new media.
Prior to joining the staff of the Community Foundation, Cara was a co-founder and President of IMC Licensing, one of the leading corporate brand licensing agencies in the world. As the lead strategist for IMC, Cara shaped the licensing visions of some of the world’s largest brands for nearly 14 years.
Cara served as Interim Executive Director of Women 4 Women in 2013 and co-founded the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Kentucky chapter which opened its doors in 2001.
Cara earned her B.A. in Communication from Chatham University.
