Shelby County Comm Fnd Logo The Shelby County Community Foundation is dedicated to enriching the quality of life for all citizens of Shelby County by serving the charitable interests of donors who have established charitable funds as part of a permanent, collective, philanthropic resource for the current and future needs of the Shelby County community. The Shelby County Community Foundation is an affiliate foundation of the Community Foundation of Louisville, a tax-exempt public charity that administers charitable funds created by individuals, businesses and organizations for the betterment of their communities. SCCF was organized in 1995 to provide the services of a community foundation to local residents and to begin building a collective charitable endowment for Shelby County.


SCCF Grant Application Now Available!

Shelby County Community Foundation is proud to announce our 2021 grant cycle is now open until July 6. We plan to award approximately $200,000 of grants. These grant funds are for nonprofits that have projects that will enrich the quality of life for all citizens in Shelby County. We have switched to an online system to accept applications for more information see below.

Last year, the Shelby County Community Foundation awarded over $46,000 to local nonprofits.  Recipients included: A Loving Choice Pregnancy Resource Center, CASA of River Region – Shelby County, Dorman Preschool Center, Hosparus, Learning for Life – Lincoln Chapter, Mentor Shelby Kids, Open Door of Hope, Operation Care Mercy Medical Center, Serenity Center, Shelby Artists on Main, and the Center for Women and Families.
