The Arts and Humanities Grant Program
This grant program provides support for the arts and humanities with special emphasis on the arts, crafts, theater, museums, and the Louisville Free Public Library. Grants are funded through the George and Mary Alice Hadley Fund and the T. Bert and Bertha Wilson Fund.
Grants are awarded to nonprofit organizations that are defined as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and offer a program that meets the criteria for the fund. Public and private schools are also eligible to apply.
The Community Foundation does not award grants from these funds to individuals, nor does the Foundation generally award grants for operating costs, sectarian purposes, endowments, capital campaigns, special events or awards.
