Since 1984, The Community Foundation of Louisville, through its donors, has built a charitable endowment to support the nonprofits that make our region a vital and secure place in which to live and work.
With more than 1,100 charitable funds set up by individuals, families, businesses and other organizations, we made grants in 2008 totaling $26 million.
We help donors with their giving today and enable their generosity to continue after their lifetimes, supporting the causes they cared about and solving problems we can’t imagine today.
